I love engagement or couple sessions because it is the most perfect time to get to know a couple. For some people it is the first time ever having their photos taken professionally and it may be intimidating! I make sure that you both feel comfortable and that you are having fun. That is one sure way to make sure your photos turn out amazing!

People always are wondering "What should I wear?" My first thought is always "What do you normally wear? What are you most comfortable in? And what makes you feel like the absolute best?" When you figure that out, that is when you can start assembling your outfits! Pick something that co-ordinates but not necessarily matches perfectly. You want the colours to go together nicely but avoid looking like twins! I love when the girl wears a dress that is long and flows, it adds another dimension to the photos when the wind blows your hair and your dress. Another option (that I would recommend) is to have an outfit change half way through! Start with something fancy, then dress down into jeans and a t-shirt or something that you wear on the daily!

Typical question number two is "When should we do it?" Like most photographers my favourite time of the day is golden hour. The colours are so rich, and the lighting reflects so beautifully! Mid day lighting tends to give people shiny foreheads, and squinty eyes. Time of year is totally up to you! Moody winter shots, or bright summer photos I'm down for it all!

"Where?" Short answer to this question is ANYWHERE! Seriously though, we could have the session at the beach, coffee shop, home, or a random side road with a beautiful over grown field. I have a long list of location ideas so send me a message and we can find the perfect location for you!
